Live online yoga from Edinburgh with Kirstine UK
Whether you're completely new to yoga, returning after a break, or simply looking for a kinder way to care for your body and mind, you're welcome here.
My online yoga classes combine gentle Hatha yoga, mindful movement, breathwork, relaxation and meditation, with elements of seasonal living and wellbeing woven in naturally.
No need to touch your toes.
No need to be flexible.
No need to be "good at yoga".
Just bring yourself and your mat.
For me, yoga is about noticing how you feel when you arrive on your mat — and giving yourself permission to work from there.
My classes are designed to be accessible, nurturing and adaptable, particularly for people who want to enjoy the benefits of yoga without the pressure of fast-paced or physically demanding practices.
You might come to yoga because you:
Whatever brings you to the mat, you are welcome.

A gentle evening yoga class to help you release the week so far and reconnect with yourself.
We'll combine accessible yoga movement with breathwork, stretching and relaxation, finishing with time to become still.
Expect:
🧘 Gentle Hatha-inspired movement
🌬️ Breath awareness
🌿 Mobility and stretching
✨ Relaxation
🌙 Meditation
60 minutes
£8 single class
A slower, more nurturing practice designed to give you an hour that belongs entirely to you.
Sunday yoga will be gentler and more restorative, with elements of yin-inspired movement, longer-held stretches, breathwork, meditation and self-care.
Some weeks we may explore sound, seasonal themes or simple practices you can take into the rest of your week.
Think less:
"I need to exercise."
and more:
"I deserve this hour."

£8 single class
Perhaps you've tried yoga before and felt intimidated.
Perhaps you think everyone else will be more flexible than you.
Perhaps you've never stepped onto a yoga mat.
Perhaps your body has changed and the yoga you once enjoyed no longer feels right.
Perhaps you're simply looking for something gentler.
That's okay.
My approach is not about forcing your body into a shape.
It's about working with your body, listening to your breath and learning to notice what you need.
There will always be options.
And there is absolutely no expectation that you will be able to do everything I demonstrate.

My classes are particularly suited to adults who want a gentle, welcoming approach to yoga and wellbeing.
You might be:
You don't need any previous experience.
Perhaps life, work, family or an injury has interrupted your practice.
You want to move without the intensity of fast-paced classes.
You'd like yoga to support relaxation, breathing and mindfulness as well as movement.
You may be beginning to explore meditation, energy, nature or a deeper sense of connection.
You don't have to identify as spiritual to enjoy my classes.
And you certainly don't have to believe anything in particular.
Come curious. Come exactly as you are.
Yoga is the heart of what I teach, but my approach has grown from many years working with wellbeing, natural therapies and holistic practices.
Through Kirstine UK, I also explore:
🌿 Natural wellbeing
🌙 Seasonal living
🕯️ Meditation
🔔 Sound healing
🍫 Cacao ceremonies
🌸 Aromatherapy
✨ Reiki
🌱 Connection with nature
These elements may appear gently within my online offerings or through my seasonal celebrations.
You don't have to take part in all of them.
You can simply come for the yoga.
One of the things that makes my approach different is the importance I place on sound and relaxation.
I use instruments including crystal singing bowls, gong, chimes, rain drum and other sound-healing instruments within my wellbeing work.
For online classes, sound is used thoughtfully so that it enhances rather than distracts from your practice.
I'll also be creating a growing collection of guided meditations and sound-based practices, allowing you to take a few moments of stillness whenever you need them.
So do we.
My yoga and wellbeing work is influenced by the Celtic Wheel of the Year, using the changing seasons as an opportunity to pause, reflect and reconnect.
Throughout the year we may explore themes connected with:
Imbolc — new beginnings
Ostara — growth and renewal
Beltane — vitality and connection
Litha — light and abundance
Lammas — harvest and gratitude
Mabon — balance and letting go
Samhain — reflection and release
Yule — rest and renewal
Seasonal themes may appear in online yoga, guided meditations and my in-person seasonal celebrations.

It's really simple.
Select Wednesday evening or Sunday morning.
You'll receive everything you need by email.
You don't need a home yoga studio.
A little floor space is enough.
Classes take place online, allowing you to practise from the comfort of your own home.
Close the laptop afterwards, take a breath and carry that feeling into the rest of your day.
You don't need lots of equipment.
Ideally have:
Yoga blocks are useful but not essential.
And please don't feel you need to buy a whole new collection of yoga equipment before you begin.
I qualified as a Hatha Yoga teacher in 2021, but my relationship with wellbeing goes back much further.
I've worked with natural therapies, Reiki, aromatherapy and holistic wellbeing for many years, and my yoga teaching has naturally become part of that wider approach.
I don't believe yoga should be something you have to be good at.
I believe it should be something that helps you feel more at home in yourself.
My classes are welcoming, practical and occasionally a little bit spiritual — but never in a way that requires you to be anything other than yourself.

You don't need to wait until you're fitter.
You don't need to become more flexible.
You don't need to know what you're doing.
And you don't need to have a particular reason for coming.
Perhaps you simply need an hour to yourself.
That's reason enough.

Yes. My online yoga classes are designed to be accessible and adaptable, and you don't need previous yoga experience.
Absolutely not. Flexibility isn't a requirement for yoga.
My teaching is rooted in Hatha yoga, with gentle movement, mobility, breathwork, relaxation and meditation. Sunday sessions may include more restorative and yin-inspired practices.
My classes are particularly welcoming to adults who prefer a gentler approach to movement. If you have a medical condition, recent injury or specific health concern, please speak with your healthcare professional about whether yoga is appropriate for you and let me know about any relevant limitations before class.
.Yes. Come exactly as you are.
No. A mat and comfortable clothing are enough to begin. Cushions and blankets can also be useful.
Selected classes and practices may be recorded and made available as part of the online yoga membership. Details will be provided when you book.
Yoga can be practised simply as movement and relaxation. My wider teaching also incorporates meditation, nature, seasonal living and spiritual wellbeing, but you do not need to consider yourself spiritual to attend.
The classes are live online, so you can practise from home anywhere in the UK and beyond.
