From My Family to Yours
The Story Behind Angel Gel™
Angel Gel™ didn't begin as a business idea.
It began with my husband, Gavin.
During his treatment for Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, Gavin underwent chemotherapy, a stem cell transplant and radiotherapy. His radiotherapy left the treated skin extremely sore, irritated and uncomfortable.
With my professional background in beauty therapy, aromatherapy, holistic health and skincare formulation, I wanted to create something that could simply bring his skin some comfort.
I began combining botanical ingredients I had trusted and worked with throughout my career, looking for a formula that would feel cooling, soothing and gentle on his damaged skin.
That first little pot became Angel Gel™.
What started as something created with love for one person gradually found its way into the homes, handbags, first-aid kits and travel bags of many others.
More than twenty years later, I still make Angel Gel™ myself here in Edinburgh.
